It was just fine, only cleaning lady knocked at the door and entered without explaining anything. Turned out she left something in our fridge. Fair enough, most likely she didn't speak any English. Later that day situation repeated. Other than that it was just fine. Pool was clean, breakfast was not bad, there was free airport transfer too.

Located near Suvarnabhumi airport (~30minutes by Grab car @ 200Bht) and about 2km away from Happy & Healthy Bike Lane and ~500meter away from night market. Lots of food stalls in the surrounding area. 7-11 is around the corner, you can get variety of things here. Rooms and hotel area is very clean; good value for money. I found it relatively quiet and safe. Hotel transfer to Suvarnabhumi airport is 150B per room @ every hour. They can help to call taxi as well.

Shuttle service is poor. The instructions are adequate but there were over a hundred people plus signs at Gate 3. After looking for 20 minutes, I could not find any Orchid Resort sign so I emailed the hotel. No response. I had to ask a kind local to call the hotel for me. They sent a shuttle which took 20 minutes. The hotel needs to use a mobile phone with WhatsApp to communicate with arriving guests. They still charged me 150 Baht each direction for the shuttle. Traffic around the hotel is very bad due to construction which will last another year or longer. The hotel had no internet or Wi-Fi but managed to get that fixed after I arrived. The hotel has 4 floors, no elevator. No hot water at the sink, no stopper in the sink for water. Makes shaving with a manual razor uncomfortable.

This hotel is okay. The room is clean and spacious enough for one person. The location is okay if you need one day to spend in Bangkok or if you are just waiting for your flight. It is an hour away from Bangkok central so I highly suggest not to book here if you plan to spend more than a day in Bangkok. There’s nothing much to do except for the market, massage and convenience store which are 5 to 10 minutes walk. Since it is close to the airport you will hear the plane landing and taking off every hour or so. The room is not sound proof so you will literally hear the traffic outside. The fan and the aircon are loud too. I can’t sleep properly due to the noise outside. The cleaning staff are nice. Didn’t use the pool since it is too small. Currently, there is a road construction going on so the “10 minutes” away from the airport takes 20 to 30 minutes depending on the traffic.

Cheapest accommodation close to the airport, though not a great location, does provide a shuttle service to airport. Room was good as were the staff. Would stay again for overnight stay if flying out the following day

The room is nice, but small. It has both an air conditioner and a fan, but no table to sit and eat and the space is very tight. You get served complimentary English breakfast and a nice pool area. They also call taxi for you and drive you to and from the airport, which takes about 11-25 mins depending on traffic conditions. Location wise, it's a little walk away from main Street, about 11mins walk, where all the markets and supply stores are. There's also a lot of motorcycles passing by and lining the streets that it sometimes feels unsafe, especially with the highway construction right on main Street. The hotel is in a dormitory and housing area.

A perfect place for a night stopover to wait for a morning BKK flight. Just 15 minutes drive from the airport, a taxi costs 120 THB. I didn't use the pool but it looked clean. I also didn't use the restaurant as I arrived in the evening after a long flight and checked-out the next morning. There is a market in the next street for food and bars nearby too as well as 7-11. Room cost was 713 THB. I would stay again.
